A lot of people are going to want to test the driver-less cars to see how they respond to unexpected situations. This is of course a good challenge for the industry because car safety is paramount. It’s one thing to have driver-less cars or cars with compatible ITS technology talking to each other, but pit them against unpredictable human beings where the technology is the wetware behind the steering wheel.
