My last blog was for the beginners, this one is a reminder to those who have been active for a while, but perhaps not getting as much traffic as you want.


The fundamentals haven’t changed much, I think the main thing that search engines are looking for is integrity. Focus on original content, consistent with keywords, tags etc. Forget about gratuitous back-links from irrelevant pages. Provide what people are looking for, answers to specific questions that are easy to find and understand, based on your target audience.


Business is always about getting the basics right. What isn’t?
