Bay Area Traffic Congestion Is Worse Than Anywhere in US Except LA
San Francisco has the second-worst congestion in the United States, according to a new report.
It’s funny to think that little old Auckland at the bottom of the planet might be worst. Our average delay is 38 minutes according to the TomTom report. For a person with a 30 minute commute, the average delay per year is 89 hours. That’s over 2 full weeks of wasted time, if you are one of the few who only work a 40 hour week.
That’s delay remember, not commute time. It’s also not counting the running cost of your vehicle. So what is your time worth per hour?
Have you changed your commuting or working patterns so as to reduce time spent in traffic?
