People often use blogs to complain these days if they feel they got a raw deal. Do you have a strategic plan on how to protect your reputation. Do you know how to deal with it?

 

Do you know when to respond and when to leave it for your mavens to respond for you, loyal customers who know you do a good job?

 

Do you know when to give away free product or services and when the customer just needs a genuine sympathetic ear.

 

Do you understand what not planning for bad PR can do to your business? Do you track who is talking about you, your company and your products?

 

At the very least its time to start looking and thinking about it. Above all else, when it does happen, don’t get angry and knee jerk your reaction. Once there is a digital footprint it is hard to get away and some of the classic viral stories are when a minor situation goes bad when people over react to them.
