As I outlined in my book Buying a House Using Real Estate Apps, Maps and Location Based Services http://www.amazon.com/Buying-House-Location-Services-ebook/dp/B00FMIB6LW people want to live in areas where people from similar backgrounds live. For some that might be about ethnicity, for many it will be about income. How do you find out this information without being a geek?

This site is one of those. Just put in the name of the address you are interested in and see what comes up. Whilst it says that it supports your country, at this stage it seems to assume that your country is the USA. Not a lot of help for me living in New Zealand. The same sort of information is available here, but not as easy to access.

As outlined in my eBook, there are similar apps available for most countries and this is an important piece of research whether you are renting or buying.
