As you know, I’ve been trialing several map and navigation applications lately, just to catch up with how they are going. I haven’t used Apple Maps for a while, although I do have an iPhone. Now this was about the Apple 6 and mine is only a 5, but I’m running the latest software version, so it should be similar.
