Britons still live in Anglo-Saxon tribal kingdoms, Oxford University finds

A new genetic map of Britain shows that there has been little movement between
areas of Britain which were former tribal kingoms in Anglo-Saxon England

Interesting, I guess this tells us that many Brits don’t like to leave home and many stay in the same region as their families have done for centuries.

We have had a TV program recently where they tracked people’s DNA and found some real surprises. I’d love to do that myself sometime, although I do have a pretty good picture of my family’s history over the last 400 years or so.

As more and more of us have DNA samples done for whatever reason, wouldn’t it be great if we could all track back and find out where we originated?

As to the Brits, maybe you should get out a little more lol
