Is it a shocker or just a continuation of what has been predicted for many years. Whilst the Northern Hemisphere is looking forward to summer, in New Zealand it is now supposed to be over, but where I will be walking my Relay For Life today, it is likely to be around 24 degrees and in parts of the South Island yesterday there were places posting 29 and 32 degrees C. For Americans that’s 84-89 degrees. That’s not going to inspire trees to adapt to winter conditions.
I’m loving it, but I won’t if it keeps going up at this pace, except that I will be able to move to the sub tropics without leaving home.
